This is a “Fundraising Concert to feed the homeless in Warsaw”- Your entrance fee and donations will go directly to feeding and clothing the homeless and poor in Warsaw.

Who are Warsaw Seva and what do we do?

Our volunteers are a friendly crew from diverse religions and atheists alike, from many different countries.

We serve a hot, tasty, vegetarian meal to the unfortunate, poor and homeless people of Warsaw City. It is often an Indian meal. It takes place every Sunday by the Palace of Culture (kinoteka side) at 16.00 hrs. We typically feed over 100 people.

This is not a religious undertaking but a humanitarian one.
However, the inspiration comes from the Sikh tradition of feeding those who are hungry irrespective of their religion, caste or status. It is called a “Langar Seva”.
We call our action “Warsaw Seva” in honour of this inspiration.

We also collect and distribute warm clothes , sleeping bags, toiletries and other essential items.

We are based upon the idea of “Direct action” meaning you are deciding that you would like to make a difference to someone’s day today – and getting involved, directly, to do something about it. Warsaw Seva provides an avenue for your action.
